Itinerary
Day 1
Olive Grove ~ National Forest Botanical Garden ~ Beijing Garden & Nara Peace Park, Japan ~ Chinese and Western buffet dinner ~ Hotel
We will depart on time and first visit an olive grove for a sightseeing and enjoying beautiful morning tea. At noon, we will visit the National Forest Botanical Garden and have lunch at your own expense. This garden covers 250 hectares and features creative outdoor art. In the afternoon, we will visit Beijing Garden, designed in the style of a Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) Chinese imperial garden, and Nara Peace Park in Japan. We will then enjoy a Chinese and Western buffet dinner before checking into the hotel.
Day 2
Black truffle farm ~ Perisher Valley ski resort ~ Chinese lunch ~ Hotel
After breakfast, we will head to the black truffle plantation. You will tour the plantation, search for black truffles with hunting dogs, and enjoy a lavish truffle tea break while learning about truffle cultivation and culinary uses. At midday, we will arrive at Perisher Valley, the largest and best-equipped ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere. You can partake in various optional snow activities at your own expense, such as taking a scenic snow mountain train or cable car up the mountain to admire the beautiful snow-covered landscapes and glaciers, or building snowmen. Enjoy a meticulously prepared Chinese lunch within the ski resort, with a special order of black truffle rice noodles available for you to enjoy free of charge. In the afternoon, you will return to your hotel for a free evening and dinner.
Day 3
Little Pink Lake ~ Earth Sciences and Gemstone Museum ~ Sydney
After breakfast, head to the Little Pink Lake and the Museum of Earth Sciences and Gems (the museum is closed at the weekend, so it will be replaced by a glass art factory or similar). Then, enjoy a Chinese dim sum lunch at your own expense. Set off back to Sydney, arriving at Hurstville, Central Station, and Chatswood by approximately 6:30 PM to conclude your delightful culinary tour.
