Itinerary
Day 1
Olive Grove ~ Chinese Lunch ~ Red Rock Canyon ~ East-West Buffet Dinner ~ Hotel
Depart on time, with a rest stop at an olive grove en route. Arrive in Canberra at noon for a Chinese lunch. Afterwards, trek south along the Murrumbidgee River Trail through pristine bushland, leading you to a vantage point overlooking Red Rock Gorge, one of the most spectacular gorges along the Murrumbidgee River. Enjoy the magnificent views of the gorge from the lookout (approximately 2 kilometres return). In the evening, enjoy a lavish Chinese and Western buffet dinner. After a delightful day, check into your hotel for a restful night.
Day 2
Black truffle farm ~ Tibibira Nature Reserve ~ Sydney
After breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed to a black truffle farm. You will tour the farm and go truffle hunting with trained dogs, followed by a lavish truffle tasting. You will learn about the cultivation and culinary uses of black truffles. Afterwards, you will visit Tibbibilla Nature Reserve to observe a variety of wildlife such as koalas, kangaroos, and platypuses in the wetlands park. Lunch will be at your own expense. In the afternoon, you will depart for Sydney. After a break at a mid-route stop, you will be dropped off at Central Station, Hurstville, or Chatswood before approximately 7:00 PM.
