Itinerary
Day 1
Copenhagen - Jönköping
Depart in the morning for sightseeing in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, the fairy tale kingdom, evokes childhood memories; the mermaid statue on the seaside is based on Andersen's fairy tale "The Daughter of the Sea". Especially after the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, it has almost become a symbol of Denmark in people's minds. The royal guards in front of the Amalienborg royal palace are also the protagonists of Andersen's fairy tales. If you are lucky, you can see the ceremonial performance of the changing of the guard! The Andersen Statue, City Hall Square, New Pier, etc. in the urban pedestrian street. After lunch, we set off towards Venice-Stockholm in the north.
Day 2
Jönköping - Stockholm
Depart for Stockholm in the morning. Stockholm is the capital of Sweden located on the Great Lake Menalen, with a mixture of old and new towns. There are many ruins in the old city, the new city is clean and tidy, the parks are green and lush, and there are many shops. It is called the most beautiful city in Northern Europe. After lunch, start a city tour of Stockholm: the noble and gorgeous City Hall, its "Blue Hall" is where the annual Nobel Prize award ceremony is held. The most eye-catching thing is the extraordinary and splendid Golden Hall, which was built with 19 million pieces of gold-plated mosaics. Then visit the Old Parliament Building, the remains of the 17th century warship Warsaw, the Royal Palace, the Cathedral, etc.
Day 3
Stockholm - Lillehammer
In the morning, we set off for Lillehammer, a city on the shores of Lake Mjösa, Norway's largest lake. It has a population of only over 23,000 people, but it was the host venue for the 1994 Winter Olympics. Enjoy the natural scenery along the way and arrive at your accommodation city in the evening. Please note: the tour does not visit the city of Lillehammer.
Day 4
Lillehammer - Brisdal Glacier - Sogndal
Depart in the morning for Briksdal Glacier in Norway, which is the largest glacier in continental Europe and a protected national park (Jostedal Glacier National Park). This glacier giant covers an area of 486 square meters, is 400 meters deep at its deepest point, and reaches an altitude of 1,950 meters at its highest point. After arriving, transfer to an electric tour bus and enjoy the lush green valleys, wild flowers blooming everywhere, clear streams, raging rivers and cascading waterfalls along the way. It takes about half an hour to drive to the electric tour bus terminal. After getting off the bus and walking for about 10 minutes, you can get a close look at the 346-meter-high Blixdal Glacier. In the afternoon, we set out to walk south towards Gudvangen.
Day 5
Sogndal - Steigerstein Observation Deck + Aurlandsfjord - Sognefjord Boat River - Flåm
Set off in the morning to Gudvangen Pier, take a ferry to the other side, and then drive to Flåm. The tour leader arranges for guests to take one of the most beautiful railway lines in the world and explore the Flåm Railway. This exciting stretch of railway attracts tourists from all over the world. The beautiful fjords, waterfalls and valleys are all in sight, and then drive to the "self-paid group activity" Steigerstein Observation Deck, which stretches out from the road. Suspended in the air, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Aurlandsfjord from high up. Aurlandsfjord is the most primitive and spectacular branch of Sognefjord, known as the "King of Fjords". Here there are beautiful peaks, green jungles, thousands of waterfalls, shrouded clouds and mist, and the mountains, water, ice and snow are wonderful. The ground merges to form a majestic landscape painting (whether arrangements can be made depends on the weather conditions of the day). After the tour, return to Flåm for lunch. In the afternoon, the team leader will take everyone on a sightseeing boat into the Sognefjord to experience the wonders of nature. Sognefjord is the longest and deepest fjord in the world, with unparalleled scenery. After spending two hours on the boat under the intoxicating scenery, we returned to the hotel for dinner.
Day 6
Flåm - Oslo
In the morning, we set off for Oslo, the capital of Norway, and visited the municipal building built to commemorate the 900th anniversary of the founding of the city. Every year on December 10th (Nobel’s Death Century Day), the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded at this municipal building. Unlike the other four awards awarded in Stockholm, Sweden, the Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony is held in Oslo, the capital of Norway. The award was presented by the chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee and officiated by the King of Norway. Then we continued to visit the famous Horna Sculpture Park and admire the stunning masterpieces of sculptor Weiland: most of his works depict various aspects of life. After the tour, you will be transferred back to the hotel.
Day 7
Oslo - Gothenburg - Copenhagen
Depart in the morning and head south to Gothenburg, Sweden’s largest port. The port of Gothenburg is ice-free all year round and is the main port for trade between Sweden and Western Europe. It faces the northern tip of Denmark. Famous attractions in Gothenburg: the Statue of Poseidon, Gothenburg Fishing Market, Cathedral and other places of interest attract hundreds of thousands of domestic and foreign tourists every year. In the evening head towards Copenhagen.
