Day 3
Urumqi – Turpan – Urumqi (B, L)
After breakfast, take the high-speed train to Turpan and visit "the hottest place in China" - [Flaming Mountain]. The highest temperature on the sunny side of the mountain can reach 82.3℃. Afterwards, visit "the most perfect ruins in the world" in the world's largest, oldest and best-preserved city with earthen architecture [Jiaohe Ancient City]. [Karez] is a special underground canal irrigation system in arid areas of Xinjiang. It has a history of more than 2,000 years. Tianchi, known as "Yaochi" in ancient times, is a world-famous alpine lake formed by the Quaternary glacier activity more than 2 million years ago. The lake is half-moon-shaped, 3,400 meters long, about 1,500 meters wide at its widest point, and about 105 meters deep at its deepest point. Urumqi (URC)/Kanas (Altay) (KJI) - Hemu (B, D)
After breakfast, take a flight to Altay and visit the [Colorful Beach], which is a colorful hilly landform composed of red, earthy red, light yellow and light green sandstone, mudstone and gravel. Yining – Natila Grassland – Yining (B, L)
After breakfast, visit the [Nalati Grassland] located in the hinterland of the Tianshan Mountains. It is one of the four largest grasslands in the world. Yining – Sailimu Lake (at your own expense) – Yining (B)
