There are opportunities to photograph the aurora all year round, but every June to October is the season when the aurora blooms occur. Itinerary
Day 1
Pick-up/Hobart City/Mount Wellington/Salamanca/Richmond Town
Guests go to Sydney Airport and take flight VA1528 (7:20-9:15) to Hobart, the capital of Tasmania. A professional Chinese tour guide will pick you up at the airport and head to Australia's most well-preserved ancient town - Richmond. Visit the ancient stone arch bridge, Roman Catholic church, and town buildings with different styles. Don't forget to take pictures. Wild ducks are swimming leisurely on the green land beside the stone arch bridge. Afterwards, we will visit Hobart’s urban Victoria Pier built in 1804, the artistic Salamanca and other places. You can have lunch at Hobart’s famous seafood restaurant (Mures) (at your own expense). In the afternoon, we will drive to the famous Mt. Wellington under the guidance of a tour guide. There will be mountain springs and streams along the way. When you reach the top of the mountain, you can overlook the panoramic view of Hobart city and surrounding areas, as well as the winding bays and islands from the observation deck. After the trip, the tour guide will send the guests to a hotel in the city center.

Day 2
Port Arthur/ Blowhole/ Tasman Arch/ Checkerboard Track/ Devil’s Kitchen
After breakfast at the hotel, the Chinese-speaking tour guide will pick up the guests from the hotel and take a ride to Pirates Bay and Port Arthur on the Tasman Peninsula (admission to the Port Arthur Historic Site is at your own expense: $47 for adults and $22 for children). The Port Arthur historical site is the site where convicts were exiled in the colonial era. It is the largest prison in the southern hemisphere. It is now the most famous tourist attraction in Tasmania and one of the most beautiful harbors in Australia. The early castles, prisons, churches and today's gardens and green spaces complement each other and become a must-visit place for tourists in Tasmania. On the way, visit Tasman's four natural wonders: Blowhole, Tasman Arch, Checkerboard Road and Devil's Kitchen, each of which reflects Tasman's unique geographical terrain. At the end of the day's trip, the tour guide will send the guests back to their hotel in Hobart to rest.
Day 3
Freycinet National Park/Wineglass Bay/Cours Bay/Honeymoon Bay
After breakfast at the hotel, follow the tour guide to drive to Freycinet National Park, visit the picturesque bays, and pass by the seaside town of Swansea, where you can get off the car and take a rest. Wineglass Bay in Freycinet National Park has been rated as one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world. The beach and the Tasman Sea form a clear-cut half-moon shape, surrounded by mountains. Tourists must climb up to see it. Fangrong. Then go to Honeymoon Bay and Coles Bay to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Freycinet Peninsula from different angles. You can have lunch at the oyster farm (at your own expense) and taste Tasmanian fresh seafood specialties. In the evening, the tour guide will take guests to Launceston, Tasmania's second largest city.

Day 4
Cradle Mountain/Lake Dauphin/Mural Town
After breakfast at the hotel, the tour guide will pick up the guests at the hotel at 8:30am and take a ride to the most representative tourist spot in Tasmania - Cradle Mountain, a World Natural Heritage Reserve. It is located in Lake St. Clair National Park. The original forest is lush and green, and the beautiful Rocking Blue Mountains are reflected leisurely on the calm Dove Lake. This scene is truly unique. It is a classic picture in the photographer's lens. The walking boardwalk built along Lake Dove is Australia's most popular hiking viewing spot. On the way to the Blue Mountains, you can enjoy the picturesque pastures and hills along the way, and stop in the mural town of Sheffield to view the murals of different styles. After the trip, the tour guide will take the guests back to Launceston Hotel to rest.

Day 5
Cataract Grand Canyon + Swiss Village + Tamar Wetland Park + Airport Drop-off
After breakfast at the hotel, the Chinese-speaking driver and tour guide will pick up the guests from the hotel and set off for a tour of Launceston. The city has many Victorian buildings and an atmosphere of old history. Cataract Gorge is just a few minutes' drive from the city center. The canyon contains a pedestrian cable bridge across the river built in 1904, beautiful Victorian gardens, and the world's longest single-cable chairlift across the canyon. (You can ride at your own expense) and trails built along the cliffs. Next, visit the unique urban wetland reserve - Tamar Island Wetlands, which is a paradise for various birds, frogs and reptiles. Visitors can see the unique flora and fauna in the park along the wooden boardwalk. At around 14:30 in the afternoon, the tour guide will take guests leaving Launceston to the airport (VA1093 16:00-17:35), and then drive back to Hobart. For tourists departing from Hobart, the tour guide will take them to the town of Ross to take photos of the beautiful Ross Ancient Bridge and churches at sunset, and visit the place where Miyazaki Hayao's "Kiki's Delivery Service" was originally conceived---Ross Bakery (Ross Bakery) Bakery). After arriving in Hobart, the tour guide will take guests to the airport.
The tour fee includes:
Air tickets (limited to air tours): round-trip air tickets from Sydney to Hobart/Lanceston to Sydney (including 23/20kg checked baggage and 7kg hand luggage per person)

Light chasing instructions:
This trip includes a free light chasing trip for guests. Guests do not need to pay to watch the Aurora, but the following terms apply:
1) The aurora index on that day must reach 5 or above (only with this aurora index can it be possible to photograph the aurora), and the weather is clear and cloudless, the light chasing trip can be organized; if the above conditions are not met, our company has the right to decide whether to arrange it Light chasing journey;
2) Guests do not need to pay; however, if they are unable to arrange a light chasing trip due to insufficient light chasing conditions, or if they participate in a light chasing trip but do not see (or photograph) the aurora, there will be no refund;
3) Guests participating in multi-day tours only have one opportunity to follow the light; if they sign up for a second light chase during the tour, they need to pay a fee ($45 per person per time)
4) Guests participating in the light-chasing tour will be disbanded at the end of the day's itinerary, and will meet at the meeting point to participate in the light-chasing tour at the time appointed by the tour guide on duty. After the tour, the tour guide will return you to the hotel.
5) The light chasing location will be arranged by our company and the tour guide on duty.
Remarks information:
1. For guests who book their own flights, the flight arrival time on the first day must be before 9:15am; the tour guide will pick up the guests at the airport at 9:30am. Guests arriving early can take a break at the airport's café.
2. If you leave from Launceston on the last day, you can book a flight that leaves after 4:00pm; if you leave from Hobart, you can book a flight that leaves at 8:00pm.
3. The itinerary sequence and daily itinerary content of multi-day tours may be interchanged, but the itinerary content remains unchanged; the arrangements will be subject to the tour guide's explanation after arrival.
4. Hobart City Apartment is a 4-star apartment hotel with full kitchen facilities in the room. The included breakfast is delivered to the room every morning by the restaurant staff (not a buffet breakfast).
5. Port Arthur tickets are available at adult, child, and student prices; student tickets require student ID. The tour guide will count the number of people in advance or on the day and hand over the corresponding fare to the tour guide on duty.
Cancellation, return and exchange policy:
1. For those who are participating in an air tour and are unable to join the tour for any reason, if they cancel 30 days before departure, a handling fee of $200 will be charged per person; if they cancel 14 days before departure, a handling fee of $600 will be charged per person; if the tour fee is canceled within 14 days before departure, the paid tour fee will be charged No refunds will be given.
2. For those who are participating in the local pick-up group and are unable to join the group for some reason, if they cancel 14 days before departure, a handling fee of $100 will be charged per person; the tour fee paid for cancellation within 14 days of departure will not be refunded.
3. During the tour, if the tour members are unable to participate in the itinerary of the day due to late submission or other reasons, or the tour is stopped midway or voluntarily gives up some activities or accommodation, the fees paid will not be refunded.
4. If a group member misses a flight, or the itinerary is canceled, rescheduled or stranded due to non-human factors such as traffic or weather during the tour, the expenses incurred will be borne by the tourists themselves. Our company will not make up for the missing itinerary due to the above reasons. It is recommended that guests purchase travel insurance.
5. Booking and cancellation policies are based on the operating company’s terms and conditions. For any cancellation, RVG Tours will charge an administrative fee of AUD 100 per person.
