Day 1
Fly to Darwin from Sydney
The group members who flew from Sydney to Darwin for five days will arrive at the airport in the afternoon and be picked up and transferred to the hotel to rest and have free time.
Day 2
Litchfield National Park in the Northern Territory: Florence Falls (Litchfield NP)/Termite Mounds Katherine Hot Springs/Katherine Gorge City (Katherine)
After breakfast, set off for Katherine Gorge City. It takes 90 minutes to drive to Litchfield National Park: Florence Falls. You can enjoy free swimming while admiring the waterfall. Visit the termite nests with piles of natural Gothic-style buildings, which is expensive. Stopped to take photos of the wonderful scenery. Lunch at your own expense. Arrive in Katherine in the afternoon and soak in the natural hot springs to relax your muscles. The crystal hot spring water comes from underground stalactite caves. It is a must-try to wash away the fatigue of the long journey. In the evening, check into the Catherine Hotel and enjoy a Western-style dinner. (B, D)
Day 3
Katherine Gorge Cruise/Mango Farm
After breakfast, group members can participate in a two-hour extremely spectacular and beautiful canyon river cruise at their own expense ($148 p/p, including hotel round-trip bus transfer, must be booked before departure, otherwise the reservation cannot be guaranteed). Lunch at own expense. Then go to the Catherine River Take photos in the park and mango orchard (seasonal restrictions apply). Go to the hot spring again in the evening. Stay at the same hotel for Chinese dinner (B, D)
Day 4
Edith Falls Jumping Crocodile Cruise/Darwin Mindil Beach Sunset Market
After breakfast, go to Edith Falls, then take a short hike, and enjoy a refreshing swim in Edith Falls. Enjoy the famous blind burger for lunch. At noon, join the 1-hour jumping crocodile boat trip ($75 p/p including bus transfer) , arrive in Darwin in the afternoon for the famous Mindil Beach Sunset Market (only available on Thursdays and Sundays from Apr-Oct every year), with more than 100 stalls, enjoy international food, music performances, specialty handicrafts, and charming sunsets...etc. After enjoying yourself, transfer back to the hotel to rest. Day 5
Darwin city tourDarwin City tour/Darwin Seafood Market/Casino
After breakfast, we first visited the Botanical Gardens after the Darwin city tour. The Darwin Botanic Gardens cover an area of 34 hectares and are full of exotic flowers and plants unique to the tropics. We then visited the Darwin Parliament, Cruises and Seafood, Fisherman’s Wharf, noble residential areas, St. Mary Cathedral, Chinatown Houwang Temple, the entrance of the World War II oil pipeline tunnel, free dinner and entertainment at a nearby casino. At 11pm, transfer to the airport to take flight QF 0829, flying back to Sydney at 01:45am on the tenth day. (B)
Day 6
Sydney
The flight arrived in Sydney at 6:30 am, and the trip ended successfully.
Tour fee includes:
Round trip air tickets and airport taxes from Sydney to central Darwin, free of charge for 20kg per person
Luggage check-in, accommodation in a double room in a three- to four-star hotel throughout the journey, meals specified in the itinerary, and admission to all attractions
Entrance fee, full transportation, and tour guide who speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, and Chinese.
Fees do not include:
Travel insurance, tips for driver and tour guide $100 p/p in total, partial meals and optional additional tour items
Precautions:
1. Please take out travel insurance, the safety of the tour participants is the direct responsibility of the transport, shipping, sightseeing and insurance companies, and this organiser has nothing to do with it.
2. If you cancel 15 days before departure, the tour fee will be deducted 60%. If you cancel less than 7 days before or if you are late at the airport, the tour fee will be deducted 100%.
3. Please bring your own personal items such as swimsuits, slippers, sun oil, sunglasses, warm clothes, anti-fly hats, etc.
4. In case of weather or emergencies, the cost of accommodation shall be borne by the guest. The company reserves the right to change the transportation itinerary and change the scenic spots.
5. If the departure needs to be canceled due to the COVID-19 epidemic or other emergencies or government announcements, the paid fees, except for the air tickets, will be automatically retained until the next departure date, or travel credit valid within one year.
