After arriving at the airport, go to the top of Lofty Mountain to enjoy the panoramic view of Adelaide and the famous German Village, and taste German pork knuckle sausage at your own expense. Day 2
Adelaide - Port Augusta
After breakfast, we will depart before 9 am. During the 3-hour drive, we will pass by the mirror of the sky: the romantic pink lake Bumbunga lake to take photos. In the evening, we will arrive at Port Augusta, which is located in front of the Spencer Gulf. It is known as the "intersection of Australia" and is the intersection of tranquil blue sea, red mountains and semi-arid desert. Check into the local hotel after dinner.(BD)
Day 3
Port Augusta - Whyalla - Port Lincoln
After breakfast, drive to Port Lincoln on the Eyre Peninsula in less than 4 hours. The Eyre Peninsula is about the same size as Ireland, but has a population of less than 60,000. Along the way, you can enjoy the three major natural resources of the area: the clear and nutrient-rich waters of the Spencer Gulf and the Southern Ocean, the fertile land that can be used to grow large amounts of wheat and barley, and the red mountains that contain large amounts of iron ore. Whyalla, the town of steel, is a place built to process and export these resources and to build ships. Come to the town from May to August and don't miss one of the wonders of the world: you will see 250,000 giant squids.
Gather together. They gather in shallow waters outside of town, and the males change color and shape to attract females. This is a unique wonder in the world. You can rent a diving suit and snorkeling equipment in the town at your own expense to get a closer look. Arrive in the afternoon and check into the local hotel (BD)
Day 4
Port Lincoln - Lincoln National Park - Sea Lion Island and Fish Ranch Fishing Boat Tour - Various optional tours
After breakfast, head to Lincoln National Park, a 200 square kilometer coastal wilderness area with towering sand dunes, deserted beaches and spectacular cliffs. In the afternoon, visit the Fresh Fish Place to visit the seafood factory and learn what fresh catches the local fishermen have! Enjoy lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, take a fishing boat out to sea for 1.5 hours to experience Sea Lion Island and the local tuna and other seafood that have been caught for more than 100 years. You will also have the opportunity to swim with tuna. In the afternoon, you can participate in various marine activities at your own expense, such as challenging your courage to dive with great white sharks (with safety iron cage protection), swimming with sea lions and fur seals... Accommodation in the same hotel (BL)
Day 5
Greenly Beach - Coffin Bay - Whyalla
After enjoying a lazy breakfast at the hotel, drive half an hour to Coffin Bay, where Australia's most famous oysters grow. They live in the calm bay waters and are nourished by two waves of nutrient-rich tides every day. When you take a tour of an oyster farm, you'll understand what all the fuss is about. Afterwards, head to Beachcomber Cafe, a great place to enjoy lunch (own expense). Greenly Beach has pure waters, and you can even see the rocks on the bottom of the water through such clarity, fully experiencing the beauty of nature! You can also swim freely in the sand pool, return to Adelaide in the afternoon, and stay at the Whyalla City Hotel in the evening. (B)
Day 6
Whyalla – Penfolds Winery - Adelaide
After breakfast, visit the Royal Australian Navy Whyalla Maritime Museum. If you come to town in winter (June to August), don't miss one of the most spectacular natural spectacles in the world, where about 250,000 giant squids gather. They come to the shallows outside the town to mate, and the males change color and shape to attract females. This scene is unique in the world. In the afternoon, go to Penfolds Winery to buy souvenirs and taste wine. Check in to Adelaide Hotel (B)
